Our glitter coffin is now proudly on display at our Lewisham & Ladywell branch.

Stepping up from her previous role of General Manager, Lisa takes on responsibility for all aspects of Mears Family funerals comprising six branches serving families across South East London and North Kent.

Today was a special Funeral with a classic and unique Citroen Hearse. This was supplied by the family with it's own driver with our Funeral team to accompany. Definitely takes you back in time seeing this classic.

We are now able to hire our Silver Hearse and matching Limousines (2) to Funeral Directors who require additional Fleet. We can hire privately with payment required upfront for this service. We can also provide additional bearers and a Funeral Director if required as part of the fleet hire. Our Bearers and Funeral director can be dressed in Stripped or plain wear at your request.

We started with our Catford shop and within the year had three others, (Eltham, West Wickham and Bromley). Update - August 2019 We now have a further two branches in Biggin Hill & Lewisham

Our new Oxford White Coffin introduced to our range of coffins due to a number of beavered family requests. Also available in most other colours including Green, Red or Blue as standard and most others as a special order. An Oak style veneer coffin engraved with contrasting fine panel details, these in gold or silver.

As we opened our Eltham Branch we took this photo of the outside of the branch.It was an afterthought as we finished the day off but I just love the sentiments it shows - its what we are all about here at Mears Family Funerals.

We have now completed our silver fleet with the addition of a hearse. Any Funeral Director that would like to hire these - please contact us.

As we continue our expansion we are delighted to take delivery of our silver limousines. We have signed the lease on our first shop in Catford and hopefully our second shop, in Bromley, will be all sorted on the 1st June - more to come on their location soon. Our repatriation Clients will now get a more local service from us.
